The Lost City North Lookout offers amazing views over the rolling Newnes Plateau with distant peaks visible like Dark Corner Mountain and Coolamigal Mountain toward Bathurst, and the forests down below. It's a scenic rest spot or turn-around point along a short spur track off the Lost City Walking Track. During spring and summer, you have the opportunity to see native birdlife like yellow-tailed black-cockatoos and crimson rosellas, as well as short-tongued bees feeding on blooming yellow daisy goodenia flowers.
