The Gorge Creek Trail descends into a rugged gorge carved into the Manitoba Escarpment, weaving through mixed-wood forest along steep shale slopes and creek crossings. Along the way, you’ll navigate wooden stairs, boardwalks, and rope handrails as you traverse this challenging terrain, where poison ivy is common, so wearing long pants is a good idea. Near the top, cliff-edge viewpoints offer sweeping views of the valley and the distant plains.
