Today it’s a peaceful forest pond surrounded by tall trees, with simple access points from the Reservoir Trail. The waterbody provides a quiet contrast to the gorge and waterfalls in the lower park and works as a natural landmark for walkers exploring the upper loops. It’s an easy stop on any longer outing through the park’s higher terrain.
