The swan pond, designed by Piermarini between 1778 and 1783, in the Royal Gardens. Along with all the characteristic scenic elements of the English garden created for the palace commissioned by Maria Theresa of Austria, such as the neoclassical Tempietto, the grotto with the statue of Neptune, and the so-called swan house.
The swans are still present, although they are certainly not Piermarini's.
