The Greenbelt Trail follows a continuous corridor of forest and meadow on the edge of the Ottawa. It’s a mostly flat, well-maintained path that works for walking, running, or biking. Parts of the trail feel surprisingly quiet, with stretches of mature trees, wetlands, and occasional wildlife. You can hike as far as you like and link the Greenbelt with nearby paths to create your own loop.
