As you ascend, the landscape opens up—wildflowers give way to larches, and the view expands across Taylor Lake and toward the Bow Valley. The ridge climb itself is moderate yet rewarding, with 1,000 m+ of elevation gain and large rock-strewn slopes that demand careful footing in places. Cresting the ridge, you’re greeted by sweeping panoramas of the Canadian Rockies.
