A beautiful park with good, easy-to-walk paths. Admission is $3. Free parking and restrooms are available. Shelters with tables and benches invite you to picnic, while children can play on the nearby playground. The paths are shady and not very busy, making it easy to spot wildlife. Our highlights were an armadillo and an alligator. Don't expect too much in the way of historical information on the Historic Trail, but it's still worth visiting for its grounds and natural beauty.
