Flowing for about 72 km through Ontario, the Jock River winds from its source near Richmond, through forest and farmland, before joining the Rideau River near Manotick. Along its banks you’ll find scenic walking paths, picnic spots, and quiet stretches ideal for paddlers seeking a relaxed day on the water. In fact each spring the Annual Jock River Canoe Race takes place in Richmond and covers 12.5 kilometers across multiple classes of competition.
