St. Bonifatius is one of the most architecturally significant village churches in the region. It was built in 1742-46 by the Zerbst court architect Johann Christoph Schütze on behalf of Prince Johann August von Anhalt-Zerbst. Before that there was only the chapel of the old moated castle (ruin) in the village. The church is a central building with a tower facing west in a very restrained baroque style. There is no decoration inside. Circumferential galleries enclose the room almost up to the altar area. In the high pulpit altar, the central themes of the divine service, the proclamation of the word (pulpit) and the distribution of the sacrament (altar) are brought together. In this way the ideal of a church building for the Reformed faith is realized here. The beautiful organ, built by Hoff in the mid-19th century and restored in 1993, is often used for concerts. The font is a foundation of the Dessau lawyer Niemann from 1911. The corresponding font was donated by the confirmants of the same year. The bronze bell dates from 1835. The church tower clock is from the construction period and is wound daily.
