The history of the Bielany Volunteer Fire Department began in the spring of 1892, when 11 people from Bielany and 8 from Łęk joined the Volunteer Fire Department. On October 29, 1893, the first general meeting was held, marking the official beginning of operations. That same year, the approved statute and regulations were sent to the Lviv Governorate.
