The Via dell'Amore was built between 1926 and 1928 as a temporary path during the construction of the Genoa-La Spezia railway line. After the railway's completion, couples in love from Riomaggiore and Manarola used the path to meet. The view of the Mediterranean Sea from the Via dell'Amore is spectacular.
There is an entrance fee for the path. In addition to the Cinque Terre Card, you will need a separate ticket for the Via dell'Amore.
