The Mapleton Acadian Forest Nature Preserve trail is a quiet 3 km loop that winds through mature Acadian forest, with small bridges, mossy ravines, and interpretive signs along the way.
The path is well-marked but uneven in spots, so good footwear helps, especially after rain when the trail can get muddy. It’s a peaceful walk that showcases classic New Brunswick forest scenery and is best enjoyed slowly, taking time to notice the diverse trees and birdlife.
