Wedge Mountain stands at the southern end of Kananaskis Valley and is one of the most recognizable peaks in the area, with its sharp triangular shape rising above the forest. It’s a popular destination for hikers and scramblers looking for a shorter but steep climb that delivers big alpine views. From the summit, you can see Mount Kidd, the Opal Range, and the wide valley stretching north toward the Spray Lakes.
