The hike on Knuten by Mefjordvær is easy to do at the end of the afternoon. There are a good hundred meters of altitude to overcome. The summit of the Knuten is crowned by a summit stone with a memorial plaque. With the sun behind you, you have a very nice panoramic view of Mefjordvær, Mefjorden and the opposite mountain range with the Hesten and Segla.
