Tucked quietly along the trail, this small historical marker marks the site of an original 1904 survey peg from the Old Edmonton Trail. Many hikers pass by without noticing it, but it’s a fascinating reminder of the region’s early mapping and settlement history. Take a moment to stop and imagine the surveyors who once charted these same forested paths more than a century ago.
