Hiking route 10 is highly recommended. From Tanah Rata, it goes through the jungle and then into the tea plantations. The way is sometimes a bit slippery, but still quite easy.

This section of Cameron Trail 6 passes through the tea plantations "Cameron Valley Tea". At the south-eastern end, an entrance fee of 3 RM / person has to be paid at the gatehouse (children up to 12 years are free). It does not matter which direction you come from.

The path leads directly between the tea fields and consists partly of tarred road and at the northern end of a small path along a stream with watercress fields.

It is questionable how dry one comes during the rainy season through the stream path, since at the end of of September already well water runs.
