The "Jallermann", a musician clown, was launched in 1987.
He miraculously reflects the Ottmarsbocholt Carnival: it is a colorful and funny figure that exudes cheerfulness and cheerfulness. The motif of the "Jallermann" adorns, among other things, the official carnival order of the bachelor's association, the "Bütt", the carnival posters and the signs that also refer visitors from outside to the Ottmarsbocholt carnival parade. Since the carnival plays an outstanding role for Ottmarsbocholt, a bronze cast "Jallermann" was even set up in the village .
