This section of the Herbert Hoover Dike offers some of the trail’s most expansive views. With the lake stretching wide to one side and wetlands unfolding to the other, it’s a walk defined by openness and quiet. The gravel path sits high above the waterline, giving a sense of scale that few places in Florida can match. Sun exposure is constant, but so are the breezes that roll across the lake.
