Sheep River flows through the front ranges of the Canadian Rockies, cutting across open valleys and limestone ridges in the Elbow-Sheep Wildland. The river is fed by mountain runoff and spring snowmelt, and in summer, it’s a fantastic place to cool off, spot wildlife, or take a break before heading into the hills.
