In the middle of the village is the hll. Rupertus and Virgil consecrated church with their characteristic leaning tower. It is one of the oldest monuments of the valley and is preserved for the most part in the original Gothic style.

The parish church of Saints Rupert and Virgil is located in the middle of the village, in a central location and built parallel to the road. The church was first mentioned in a Chiemsee document from 1350, which has not been found since. The parish church is therefore one of the oldest architectural monuments in the valley and is still largely preserved in its original early Gothic form. Only the tower had to be reinforced with retaining walls in 1616, as it began to lean strongly to the northwest.
