You can only go through this tunnel or take a ferry from Nussfjord to Ballstad, which only runs once a day. The tunnel is doable, but very loud! In addition to the road, there is a narrow walkway that can also be used as a cyclist. But watch out! Better push uphill from the middle of the tunnel.
