Hiking
St Peter’s Church in Harrogate, built in a neo-Gothic Victorian style, has served the town for over 150 years. Its foundation stone was laid in 1870, the church was consecrated in 1876, and the tower completed in 1926. Inside, it features carved stone heads of archbishops, striking stained glass windows, an oak altar rail by Robert “Mouseman” Thompson, and a fine four-manual organ.
