State Wildlife Areas are critical habitat areas for Colorado’s wildlife. In 2002, Reinecker Ridge and Mud Springs SWAs were combined into one property and renamed the James Mark Jones SWA. The name honors Jim Jones, an outstanding Colorado Division of Wildlife employee who passed away in February 1999. Watch for hunters while crossing through, and wear visible colors.
