The Bayou Salado Trading Posts in the heart of Hartsel sells gems & minerals and native American Indian crafts, coffee lattes and locally made ice cream, It stocks handcrafted items including western art, wood carvings, and locally made sterling silver jewelry. The lapidary arts include local agates, petrified wood, and Colorado turquoise. These are wire wrapped and set in sterling silver by local artist Dave Harvey.
