Once named among Norway's ten most important cultural sites, Abborhøgda's cluster of farm buildings is one of the best examples of a Forest Finn croft. The farmstead occupies a lovely position on top of a hill in the Finnskogen forest and includes a farmhouse, a barn, a smoke cabin/sauna, root cellar, cookhouse, shed, haybarn, pigsty, summer byre and a woodshed. The buildings date from between the late 18th century to the 20th century.
