    🪵 History and Foundation
    - The first church in Kamieniec existed as early as the 13th century, founded by monks from Trzemeszno.
    - In 1521, the church was dedicated to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and from 1608 to St. James the Less.
    - The current building was built in 1723–1724 at the initiative of parish priest Jan Cieński, on the site of a demolished earlier church.
    - In the 18th century, the Brotherhood of St. Joseph, whose image was considered miraculous by the faithful, was founded at the parish.
    🏛️ Architecture
    - The church is a log structure, clapboarded on the outside, with a post-and-beam tower.
    - A single-space structure without a separate chancel, typical of rural churches in the region.
    - In 1931, the roof was reshingled, and in 1948, the foundation was replaced with a stone foundation.
    - In the 1960s, the cladding was replaced, and interior renovations have been underway since the 1990s.
    🎨 Interior and furnishings
    - The original furnishings from the 17th and 18th centuries have been preserved:
    - A Baroque main altar from 1724,
    - A late Baroque pulpit,
    - Elements of folk religious crafts.
    - The church is located on the Way of St. James, which gives it additional pilgrimage significance.
