The whole thing now operates with planted cherry trees as Europaweg.
It used to be an old trade route and military road.
A battle raged there in October 1806. An officer; A monument is dedicated to Major von Eberhard. Right next to it there is a beautifully designed bench in the shade of a tree with a view of the Krippendorfer post mill.
