12th century monastery in the Sierra de Faro on the banks of the Oseira River. It is one of the most notable historical buildings in Galicia and one of the stops for pilgrims on the Camino de la Plata. Stop and wander around the monastery grounds. There is a spring water fountain right outside for you to feel the bottles.

Hiking

The church is one of the largest in the peninsula of the Cistercian Order and has three naves and a Latin cross floor plan. In the ambulatory we find a sample of the influence of the Cathedral of Santiago. The roof is a pointed barrel vault. As for the façade, say that it is baroque from the 17th century in which the padded ashlars and its two two-body towers stand out.
