The Forcla da Gavirolas is a 2,528-meter-high (according to the sign on site) pass. The rocky mountain ridge allows you to change sides of the valley up here without having to descend far. If you hike into the Val di Pigniu, you can spot the Lag di Pigniu far below you a short while later. The path is marked white-red-white, meaning it is a mountain hiking trail.
