It's an old hotel. So for staying, it's not the best place. Food isn't really good either.
But: it's a great place for having a drink when riding the bike. The terrace is really great!

There used to be a drawbridge on the site of the current aqueduct, which caused long waiting times, especially in summer, as it was often open and the N359 is the main road in south-west Friesland. Construction of the aqueduct began in December 2005, which has a closed tunnel section of 73 meters. The total length is 469 meters. The aqueduct has 1x2 lanes and a bike path. The aqueduct opened to traffic on November 7, 2007. After commissioning, the drawbridge was demolished.
