Wiedersberg Castle is a spur castle with two deep neck trenches and the still visible foundations of two strong rectangular towers on the eastern attack side. Access is on the south side of the facility, via a two-storey gate tower. The castle was built around 1200. It was built to secure the trade route between Plauen and Hof. After 1500 the castle was already in ruins. Maintenance work was not carried out until 1970.
