Perched on the headland where Queensland meets New South Wales, Point Danger Lookout is one of the best viewpoints on the southern Gold Coast. From here you can see the coastline stretch from Surfers Paradise in the north all the way to Byron Bay in the south on a clear day. The lookout is also home to the Captain Cook Memorial and lighthouse, built to commemorate Cook’s 1770 voyage along Australia’s east coast.
