A pretty little chapel with shingles all around invites you to rest and thankful contemplation.
The first Gahberg chapel was built 300 years ago. The current construction dates from 1951.
The chapel is located on the long ridge of the Gahberg and is a popular hiking and tourist destination. The nearby recreational meadow of the municipality Weyregg and several benches invite you to rest. The 864 m high Gahberg is usually fog-free and attracts many walkers and hikers.
Be sure to go into the chapel, this is painstakingly maintained by Christine and Wolfgang by the apartment Christine and decorated with flowers or stretches on the benches. Both the wrought iron grille in front of the altar and the ceiling painting are worth seeing.
