The treetop path, which opened on March 19, 2016, is 1,152 m long and at an average height above ground of 26 m and is completely barrier-free. After about two-thirds of the way you reach a goblet-shaped lookout tower that opens upwards and is mostly made of wood. The path on the outside of the tower makes it possible to reach the circular gallery on the top level without barriers, from which one has a panoramic view of the wooded landscape of the Steigerwald.
