If you visit Upper Indian Lake, make sure you walk to the north end of the lake and look at Mosquito Pass. The pass is a gentle grassy ramp from the lake that suddenly drops down a steep talus field. I met a bear there and he turned tailed and disappeared down the steep slope. Exciting times.
