Jacques Lake Trail is well trodden along the first section, while the second section, after the series of alpine lakes, narrows as it climbs and descends through thick forest. Watch your footing for roots and rocks and be sure to look up from time to time to enjoy some beautiful scenery, with towering peaks on both sides of this valley hike.
