    Thunder Rock Campground is a popular stop along the Benton MacKaye Trail, offering convenient access to the trail and the nearby Tanasi Trail system. The campground provides 37 regular campsites and one group campsite, all equipped with picnic tables, grills, lantern posts, and water hydrants. Amenities include bathhouses with flush toilets and warm showers.The campground is open from March to October, with three sites remaining open from November through March.

    Camping fees at Thunder Rock Campground range from $12.00 to $20.00 per night, depending on the site. Some sites offer electric hookups, while others are non-electric.
