Wonderful for children to play and to organize small races with little boats. Also interesting is the attached mining trail.

The Röhrgraben is an artificial trench from mining. To distinguish them, artificial trenches were given names like tunnels.

The Röhrgraben was formerly used to supply the mine on the Sauberg with water and can still be mastered almost completely from Greifenbach Stauweiher to Sauberg, now also serves the outdoor pool in Eh -dorf for water supply. I used to go there with my grandma every week and even today it's still one of my favorite hiking trails.
Those who set out early enough and are still almost alone in the forest can cycle down the path, but is actually not allowed and in parts a bit more difficult due to rocks and roots, and the hikers are not that enthusiastic during the day;)

It is recommended to take a break at the Greifensteinstollen, which is also there
a snack bar with many benches to relax. Then you go
further towards Ehrenfriedersdorf you come to the Waldgeisterweg
there are about 25 carved figures from tree trunks to admire.

The narrow path (Röhrgrabenweg) along the moat is a quieter walk and a real highlight for children. The wider path in the valley between Ehrenfriedersdorf or Geyer and the Greifenbachstauweier is more suitable for cyclists.

A small path leads along the Röhrgraben. This technical masterpiece, which once brought water for mining to Ehrenfriedersdorf and was built with a very small gradient. Information boards, ruins and old tunnels are along the way.

Very beautiful 4 km long history trail starting from the Greifenbach reservoir.
At the end you can hike back over the beautiful Greifenbachtal

Historic path along the Röhrgraben from Geyerschen Teich to Greifenbachstolln. Don't fall into the water!

Once created for mining and a technical masterpiece of the time. The water flows slowly along with a very slight gradient. A short detour to the Greifenstein tunnel (signposted) is recommended.

Here the water from the Greifenbach, which flows from the Greifenbach reservoir, is directed into the artificially created Röhrgraben.
