In 2020, the Tegernsee-based Springwater Group bought the old Sachranger Hof at the entrance to the town; the price is undisclosed. 🤬 "We want to advance Bavarian tourism," says Jürgen Böhmler, one of the two managing partners. His concept: renovate hotels in need of renovation and adapt them to modern standards. In Schliersee, they are currently converting the old Hotel Reiter into apartments. In Reit im Winkl, they have remodeled a hotel, where business is already running smoothly – according to their own statements.
