The extension of the Maifeldradweges from Ochtendung to Bassenheim is (almost) finished. The track is very nice. In contrast to the section between Ochtendung and Polch, it's a few kilometers through the forest on some very old viaducts.

The viaducts are located between Polch and Mayen.
There are also several tunnels there. Overall, the cycle route between Bassenheim and Mayen, from Polch to Münstermaifeld, is very popular because it is an old railway line with very little incline or decline, depending on which side you are driving from.August 6, 2020
