At the highest point in Gouveia, Santinha rises like a vast plateau in the Serra da Estrela, dotted with heather, gorse, and mountain meadows.
From here, the view stretches between the Videmonte and Torre plateaus and the Lapa, Leomil, Caramulo, and Montemuro mountains. It's a majestic landscape, closely monitored by its fire prevention station.
