The building was renovated for community purposes by the local government in 2020 using a grant. It also houses the clubhouse of the local Oil Industry Retirement Club Association and an Oil and Gas Industry Local History Collection, whose task is to present and preserve the memories of the local past, in a manner worthy of the spirit of the place.
