Cycling
It consists of five separate forest areas, the well and pointed wood, the Zechholz, the Klenkenborn and the burial wood.
The forest areas are mainly oak-beech mixed forests. The Brunnenholz in the north of the reserve contains spring areas and five staircase-shaped former fishponds. In the wetter environment predominantly oak hornbeam forest is to be found.

This deciduous forest has a special charisma. The huge trees, the well-tended paths are more reminiscent of a park that has been left to nature.
If you leave the forest you have a wonderful view of the Bederkesa lake below.
