You'll ascend and descend a total of 630 meters (a 315-meter climb) over rocks, tree roots, and rough terrain. It's quite steep, but manageable for experienced runners. Do wear hiking boots. It's humid in the jungle, and sneakers are prone to slipping. Expect an hour's ascent and 30 minutes' descent.
