There is an information board on the side of the station building commenting on the station's history including a description of the 'Jellicoe Express' train route during WW1.

Good starting point to get off at to ride to Altnabreac/Loch More area off-road where the start point is a couple miles further up the road. A Gravel Bike is fine for the trail.
