La Baita del Giovanni

Very nice manager, it is a bivouac with an emergency bed dug into the rock, near the Passo della Forca: in 15 minutes you can reach the Cima Croce del Monte Alben.

The Baita del Gioan was created under a large rock and serves as a shelter for hikers in case of rain.

It is looked after by Giovanni, who reaches the bivouac in summer and winter and takes care of its maintenance.

Anyone passing through it can naturally stop for a break, as long as they remember the main rule that is the basis of every excursion: respect for the mountain and what surrounds it

This small building is open in the summer and serves as a useful shelter in bad weather. It is located just above the Alben refuge, near the Forca Pass. The trail to reach it is easy and suitable for everyone (training permitting). Nearby destinations include the Alben refuge, the Forca Pass, the Cima Alben, and the Cima della Spada.
