Very nice beer garden with lots of shady places. The prices are ok and there is a playground for children. There are also plenty of drinking bowls for dogs at the dog bar. The dog bar bowls are cleaned regularly and filled with fresh water. A good refreshment or break for a hike or other sport.

Restaurant in winter, shady beer garden in summer. The Aumeister Beer Garden on the northern edge of the English Garden is a delightful place for a drink and a bite under the shade of chestnut trees.

The namesake of our cycle priority route “Aumeister Cycle Path” through the English Garden. In some places the route is really difficult to find and the signposted route is not always optimal.
