In the rear area of the Gustav Clauss facility there is a wet biotope, information signs informing the population about its special flora and fauna. The park's scenic backdrop is often used for outdoor events.

The Gustav-Clauss-Anlage, through which the Großbach flows, is located in the heart of the city of St. Ingbert. It is very popular with citizens and visitors. At the end of the 1940s, the city council decided to design the large gardens along the Großbach and its floodplain area as a park and recreational area. The suggestion came from the St. Ingbert pharmacist and city council member Gustav Clauss (1893-1957), who also did an honorary job. The park opened in 1954 and quickly became a popular destination. Lovers in particular used this area for a secret rendezvous, so that the park was popularly known as the "Allee of Sighs". In 1959 it was given the official name "Gustav-Clauss-Anlage". The “green lung” of St. Ingbert consists of a beautiful pond, many benches, relaxation areas and a large water playground. In the rear area of the Gustav Clauss facility there is a wet biotope, with information boards about its special flora and fauna to educate the population. The scenic backdrop of the park is often used for open-air events. The Gustav Clauss facility is constantly changing and is always worth a visit.
