There is an interesting place in Novorossiysk - Sudzhuk Spit (I don't know if it has anything to do with the meat product "Sudzhuk").
This spit ends at Cape Sudzhuk, and on the other side of this cape there is another spit (artificial? 🤔), which is marked on the maps as "Aleksino", and all this together with the coastline forms a triangle inside which is a lake (?!) Solenoe (again, a salty lake). Why "solenoe" is clear, it is not clear why "lake". Usually such formations are called "estuary".
Oh well.
This spit is located right next to the Malaya Zemlya memorial complex. You can get there on foot, by bike, or by car. There is a large free (!) parking lot before the start of the spit.
There is also a large free (!) parking lot on the Aleksino side. Some citizens are even allowed to drive a car past the barrier, but I don’t know what you need to do or who you need to be for this.
