The somewhat hidden trail runs for several kilometers through the Måbødal valley along the Bjoreio River. The trail ends (not directly) below Vøringsfossen waterfall and can be hiked as part of a roughly 14-minute circular route. The turnoff from the old road to the hiking trail is somewhat hidden. It is definitely recommended to visit not only the area above Vøringsfossen waterfall, but also the area below the waterfall in the gorge.
